September 7, 2008. Youngstown is Home.

Youngstown is known for producing great collegiate and professional athletes but they end up living in the adopted cities for which they play. As a boxer, Kelly picks the place he trains and lives and it's the same place where he grew up: Youngstown. Many boxers prefer training camps in the Pennsylvania mountains, Miami or Las Vegas, But Pavlik, and his trainer Jack Loew, function best when they are at home. Alluding to this simple phenomenon, The Washington Times wrote an article called "Youngstown's Franchise". Read the article by clicking here.
