Thousands of runners gathered in Youngstown today for the 34th annual Youngstown Peace Race. The course took runners from the South Side, through Mill Creek Park, and ended in Downtown Youngstown. We are told more than 12-hundred people participated in todays event, one of those was boxing's middleweight champion of the world, Kelly Pavlik, whose just days away from his next fight.

The winner of this years race was from Indianapolis, Indiana. The top local finisher was Dave Mealy of Youngstown, he crossed the finish line eighth. --Report by WYTV33
