This Blog will pick up from May 2008. We direct fans and friends to the "Photos" section of www.teampavlik.com so that you may click on each photo and read captions about specific events and appearances during Kelly's first championship year between mid-2007 and mid-2008. The "Videos" section has clips of Kelly's historic Championship win. On September 29, 2007, Kelly KO'ed the undefeated Champion Jermain Taylor for the title and beat him in the re-match February 16, 2008. In fall 2007 Kelly was a special guest of Jim Tressel and the Buckeyes, Travis Hafner and the Indians, Coach Romeo Crennel and the Browns, and LeBron James and the Cavs -all documented in the "Photos" section. Kelly has been involved with charities since his amateur days but once he won the title he was able to raise significant funds for numerous charities.
