Over 1,000 people packed into Cene Field bleachers to watch Team Media face off against Team Pavlik in a charity softball game. Before the game started Dana Balash did a live interview with Kelly Pavlik and members of Team Media. One member of Team Media got a pie in the face live on television as Kelly’s father Mike snuck up on Vindicator reporter Joe Scalzo.
The game provided some thrills for the audience as Kelly went 3 for 4 on the day. Although Team Media had more runs after 9 innnings, Team Pavlik was able to win the home run derby courtesy of Kelly’s cornerman, Youngstown Police officer Mike Cox. Over $5,000 was raised for the local
