April 18, 2010. Kelly is back home.

Kelly is back home with his wife and two children. On Saturday he lost The Linear World Middleweight Title to Sergio Martinez via decision. He has total rights to an immediate re-match and will choose whether or not to exercise that option in the coming weeks. So, in the meantime, Kelly will relax and assess his weight situation and his plans.

I just watched the fight on HBO...I'm very disappointed and I only have one thing to say.....DOUBLE JAB....TEAM PAVLIK let down Kelly Pavlik....the double jab should have been figured out by round 3 if not before the fight....the TEAM needs to get it together for the re-match....use the DOUBLE JAB overtime in the rematch and you will win... you have the heart of a champion...Good Luck.

Kelly...I watched the fight on Saturday night and you gave it your all. I am sooo proud of you! I know that you will recover and come back stronger than ever. I have supported you and will continue to do so. I did NOT like your opponent at all! He was cheap and a massive show boater. At times I felt I wanted to lay him out for you. Go Kelly! I know you can do it! Love ya!

Me and my father have watched your career for many years and we think your both a great boxer and a tremendous fighter. But the guy that was in the ring Saturday wasn't the same fighter we saw put Taylor on his butt a year ago. I think your trainer has taken you as far as he knows how, it's time for a professional, Like Freddy Roach or Emanual Stewart. I know there is a friendship there but this is business. We love ya and don't want to see a punk like Martinez have anything to brag about in the rematch.

It's not like Pavlik can't be a volume puncher. Taylor was just as fast in their rematch and Kelly overwhelmed him. SO what happened? Is staying at 160 finally caught up to Kelly, or is it Jack Loew has reached the point where he's about as helpful as Ozell Nelson is helpful to Jermain Taylor?

kelly I have followed you for a long time and love your boxing style and heart that you show in the ring, however I think you need to move to a better trainer than loew you can keep him on a cotrainer but you should look for help from a hired gun like manny stewart or freddy roach.
